For families in and around the Cumbernauld and Kilsyth Area
Our School Uniform Bank and Baby Bank aim to support children and families in need, through community recycling and donations.
The School Uniform Bank provides school uniform free of charge to those families most in need in the area, through a system of referrals. Packs provided to children and young people consist of new and pre-loved items. But we also want to provide wider community benefit, by giving families access to good quality pre-loved uniform, that may have otherwise have gone to landfill. So we are developing a system of uniform exchange.
The Baby Bank delivers support to parents and carers of young children in the area who need a little help. This help is primarily in the form of a 'starter pack' for babies, which is presented as a gift from the local community. However, we also provide other items for young children, based on referrals.
We accept referrals via social work, schools, health visitors and other relevant groups and organisations. For more information on referals, please click here.
For information on donating your preloved items, please see the Donation Guides in the Baby Bank and Uniform Bank sections of the site.
"We were delighted to donate the clothes and equipment our children no longer need, and know that it helps local families too!"
